Four new 95 Express Lanes access ramps

95 Express Lanes access ramps are now open in the I-95 Fredericksburg corridor at Route 17 and Old Courthouse Road. Two additional ramps now serve motorists in the Quantico area.

All lanes now open at I-95 Rappahannock River crossing

All six northbound lanes spanning the Rappahannock River are now open to traffic, delivering additional capacity to motorists. At the divide, before the river, travelers can choose to stay in the I-95 through lanes or use local lanes for exit 130.

95 Express Lanes Fredericksburg Extension now open

Travelers can go 10 more miles in the Express Lanes mainline, entering and exiting near exit 133 (Falmouth/Warrenton) area.

Variable speed limits

To enhance safety in the I-95 northbound corridor between mile markers 115 and 130, new signs displaying variable speed limits between 35 mph and 65-70 mph are paired with dynamic message boards in this section of I-95 northbound.
